Motown music will soon be heard from  The Stables at Harbor Club in October for Pete Nance Boys & Girls Club’s Moonlight & Motown signature fundraiser.

The event will be held Oct 19 this year beginning at 7 PM with a cocktail hour leading into dinner and dancing. Tickets are now on sale at

What makes this event so much fun is the atmosphere where live music, fall weather and philanthropic giving meets.

This year’s event will feature the sounds of Motown, its infamous silent auction, a 50/50 raffle where participants have a chance to win half of the funds collected and plenty of great food with tasty drinks on hand.

“Moonlight & Motown is our signature event for a reason,” Brad Parr, PNBGC Club Director said. “This event brings together the lake community for the common cause of seeing our youth become bright young productive adults. Without the groves of support we see from Moonlight & Motown we would be unable to provide some of the amazing programs we offer our youth.”

All proceeds from Moonlight & Motown go directly to Pete Nance Boys & Girls Club, which serves Greene County with high end programming, mentoring and a life changing environment where youth can grow, learn and play in a safe space.

“It’s impossible to sum up in words just how fun Moonlight & Motown is – people dance the night away in between good food, great company and getting to learn about our Club,” he said. “I’m so excited for guests to be able to see what we have been up to since last year’s event. We will have the entranceway lined with photos, information about our Club alumni and this year’s Youth of the Year for Pete Nance.”

Parr says it’s important for the community to see the outcome of their giving.

“These youth are able to thrive because of the community’s support alongside us,” he said. “We want our guests to arrive to Moonlight & Motown and know you’re here to boogie the night away and impact the year ahead for our youth.”

With tickets on sale now, Parr said, “you can plan your experience for Moonlight & Motown prior to the night of adding a sense of ease to your arrival and overall fun that night. We are just so excited and ready to meet you on the dance floor Oct. 19 at The Stables in Harbor Club.”

Sponsorships are available with unique experiences for each level.
