Meet Dan & Laree Zant

Dan and Laree’s journey began on a dusty T-ball field when they were just five years old—two
kindergarten teammates with no idea they’d one day be dancing together at prom… twice. Fast
forward to senior year, and Dan, the shy but strategic quarterback, finally worked up the nerve to
ask Laree, the high-flying gymnast, out on a date. Turns out, she’d been flipping for him all along.
From that moment on, the quarterback and the gymnast were inseparable. Their love story carried them through college at the University of Georgia, where they both earned degrees and later cheered on their own children as they became proud UGA grads too.

Today, Dan and Laree have traded playbooks and balance beams for bike trails and porch swings.
You’ll find them pedaling through town or relaxing on the front porch of their charming historic
home, still very much in love—and still making each other laugh like it’s 1990.

Meet Travis and Jeannie Rice

You could say Travis and Jeannie Rice are legends of the Madison social scene...which, of course, means the stories about them are from a long time ago and are mostly fictional. Some doubt the Rices ever existed at all. 
But the truth is, the Rices are (mostly) real and ready for prom night. 

Why should you consider the Rices for Prom King and Queen? Well, one of them was popular in high school, the other is popular now; so either way they can relate. Whether you were a jock or a nerd or a prep or a goth, they've lived that life. Meet Sheriff Tyler Hooks and his better half, Cheryl Hooks!

Partners in life, in public service, and now… on the prom court! When Tyler isn’t keeping the streets of Morgan County safe, he’s working on his Greased Lightning dance moves with varying success and moderate risk of injury.

Cheryl, who’s absolutely convinced she was born for a poodle skirt and a prom sash, is
busy making sure he doesn’t spin her straight into the refreshment table.

Meet Carrie and Derrick Reid

Meet the ultimate odd couple! Carrie Reid, the outgoing city girl with a flair for politics (and a title to prove it - Mayor Protem!), and Derrick Reid, the quiet country boy with a love for law and order (and a badge-wearing heart!). When they're not busy running the
city or keeping it safe, they're teaming up to bring joy and leadership to the Boys & Girls Club as King and Queen candidates! Opposites attract, and this dynamic duo is
proof. Vote for them and get ready for a royal good time!

Meet Ed and Kris Fenoil

After working throughout Europe, Edouard, a classically trained pastry chef left France
for the United States.  He hadn’t expected to run into Kris, a small-town girl with a big
heart who had moved to Atlanta looking for something new.  Neither of them knew that
a chance meeting on Valentine’s Day, and the chocolates the pastry chef quietly tucked
into her hand, would lead to something big.
 
The couple eventually left the hustle and bustle of Atlanta for the quiet charm of a small
town, chasing a dream of opening a bakery.  What they didn’t expect was how warmly
the town would welcome them. And so it’s there, among their new friendships and new
dreams, among the warm croissants, where another unexpected story begins, where
they find themselves running for Prom King and Queen.

The King of Coolness

You might recognize him from every sporting event or themed attired event his wife signs him up for. Also, the guy who rocks sunglasses like it’s a lifestyle. Known for his impeccable fashion sense (hello, khakis and button-up combo) and his dance moves that might be considered “experimental.” Vote for Wes if you want prom to have a laid-back, yet totally stylish vibe.

The Queen of Sass and Class

She’s got the kind of charm that’ll make you smile and the style that makes everyone else wish they were as cool. Whether she’s shaking up the dance floor or sharing hilarious, “totally relatable” one-liners, Lyndsi is here to make prom night unforgettable. She might have tattoos, but her personality is even more permanent! Vote for her because everyone needs a queen who can break it down and keep it real.
