Tiedrell A. Your 2026 BGCNCG Youth of the Year

Tiedrell’s journey to being named the BGCNCG Youth of the Year is a powerful reflection of both his personal growth and the impact of the Club in his life. Throughout the Youth of the Year process, Tiedrell showed real maturity, confidence, and professionalism—learning how to tell his story, advocate for himself, and lead with purpose. He approached every step with intention, from interviews to public speaking, and proved he could rise to the moment with poise and humility. Watching him grow into a young professional who communicates clearly, carries himself with confidence, and represents his peers so well has been nothing short of inspiring. For Tiedrell, the Club has always been more than a place to go after school—it has been home. He grew up within these walls, finding support, structure, and encouragement from staff and mentors who believed in him and pushed him to aim higher. That foundation helped shape the young man he is today and prepared him for what comes next. This fall, Tiedrell will take the next big step in his journey as a Division I lacrosse player on a full-ride scholarship, a testament to his discipline, work ethic, and resilience. His story is exactly what Youth of the Year represents: what’s possible when opportunity meets determination, and when a young person is surrounded by people who never stop believing in them.

We’re thrilled to celebrate Eva J., Georgia’s 2025 Youth of the Year, on her incredible achievement in winning the Southeast Regional Youth of the Year title! Eva has shown exceptional leadership, academic excellence, and a deep commitment to her community—all qualities that reflect the very best of what Boys & Girls Clubs stand for. Her powerful story and inspiring presence earned her the honor of representing the entire Southeast region as she advances to the national Youth of the Year competition. Eva’s journey is a shining example of resilience, ambition, and the impact of strong mentorship and support. We couldn’t be prouder!

Each year, one exceptional Club member is selected to be the Regional Youth of the Year for BGCNCG, serving as an ambassador for Boys & Girls Club youth as well as a voice for all of our young people. Over the years, these individuals have exemplified the Boys & Girls Club mission and are proof of the impact Clubs make in transforming and saving kids’ lives.
